20 isn’t terrible, you can do pretty cool things then (I went to Egypt, fell in love, etc. when I was 20). And if you have friends who are 21, it doesn’t really matter your age. Wow, that sounds devious on my part.
My chances of doing either of those things are very, very slim to none…but I like your optimism. 20 just sounds like more responsibility than 19 but with none of the (legal) fun of 21.
